I’ve found that by stuttering openly (certainly still working on the “without shame” part!), and people who I interact with seeing my struggle - they are much more willing to be vulnerable with me. It makes for some pretty empathetic and kind interactions with strangers and idk, it gives me faith in humanity. Don’t get me wrong, I still encounter an asshole every now and then. 😆 But for the most part, people are pretty easy going about it.
