I stutter when i read out loud the holy book (Quran bcs i'm a muslim) or novels with my cousins. These two know that i have this problem reading outloud in Arabic (which is my mother language btw) and they respect it which i appreciate so much but any other person would make fun of me and makes me feel so little.. i don't stutter as much reading English surprisingly (which is the third language i learned) and i've been getting comments from people like : "speak your language.." "stop talking in English it's not ours" "Arabic is the laguage of the Quran! why don't speak it instead" ... and so on and so on... people don't understand that i felt more comfortable speaking and reading and even writing in English more than Arabic (even if it's not perfect to some people it is still better than my Arabic) so i stutter even more everytime i remember that Arabic is my language and i must have known how to read better ... it gets worse every time.. i know you're asking for help and i'm not offering one but i just wanted to share my story bcs it is so annoying to be the stuttering one amongst people!! i hope one day i can ready aloud better in every language i know bcs i really like learning languages and speak them with other people. And i hope you have overcame your stuttering problems and now you are comfortable =w= have a good day!
