Thank you for sharing your personal experience with such honesty. This is extremely helpful. I think him hearing / reading your words will have a greater impact than me simply encouraging him to join clubs when he gets to college and “put himself out there more,” etc. While that is solid advice, hearing from someone who has lived and is living through his personal experience will be much more meaningful.
