My stutter is moderate and I am generally in control but a few years ago I got very sick after a trip to China and all of the doctors I saw told me it was asthma and put me on steroids way too often. Did you know that a side effect of steroids is stuttering? Well that was a fun time! When I got back to work, I had to deal with team restructuring and a new boss. I was trying to begin a phone conference one day with my team (I was the manager) and I was having the worst time. Well, my new boss gave this long bitchy impatient sigh into the phone and I could just feel her eyes rolling. I think I was more angry than embarrassed. I have never met such a horrible person in my entire life. I hope that all of you know that your stutter is not the problem. It's the way people react to your stutter. There's nothing "wrong" with you :)
