for most young kids who stutter it goes away! I stuttered when i was also around 9, went to speech therapy and it went away. It did come back when I was in high school though, but that is an unusual case! My speech fluctuates, some months I barely stutter, than others it’s pretty severe. So that’s definitely normal! Also it’s good that he’s seeing a speech therapist, I have always found them pretty helpful.
