It's an excellent idea. There are a few world-class scholars (one at Boston University, another at Washington University in Seattle) who are experts in the neuroscience related to; stuttering. As I follow them, I see that the jury is still out. I am not aware of any systematic approach to the problem from the points of views of stutterers. Typically, the scholars just dismiss anybody not from their field as ignorant, unprofessional folks.
