How to stay calm throughout the day?

How to stay calm throughout the day? Hey guys, I started meditating recently, and I've found that it actually helps with my stutter! At least in the morning. It's almost if I can hear the phrase in my head, before I say it, and I don't stutter when I can do that. And I feel like there's a better connection between what I'm thinking and what comes out of my mouth. idk if this makes sense, but I feel more in the moment. But as the day goes on, I begin to think faster than I can talk, I feel more "un-grounded", can't focus on the words I'm speaking, kinda like I'm on autopilot. And so, my stutter starts getting worse again. Just wondering if any of you have noticed something like this, and if there's something that you found that helps with this. Thank you!
