As a kid I stuttered the majority of my sentences, but as I grew into my later teens my stutter kinda turned the same way like yours. I would say the main solution if you could even call it that is having more confidence in what you're saying. Usually when public speaking or anything where I have to focus on the quality of my words I stutter more frequently because I begin to worry about my stutter. The past few months I've started to just not care and let the words flow out as they do, if I get stuck on multiple words in a row so be it, and I've noticed my stutter getting reduced quite a bit. Not making it non-existent, but enough to where I feel more comfortable. Everybody's stutter works differently, hope my little insight was helpful.
