Yes, if you read anything about the science of communication and language all that matters is if we arnt in rhythm with who we are talking to. Being able to match each others rhythm when speaking is what creates massive ease and trust. As stutterers we are fucked regardless if it happens to be mild that secound or severe. The social consequence is still the same. Honestly though I find that when I stutter mildly people are actually worse towards me and they minimize my condition. When it’s god awful people tend to be much more kind and understanding. It’s fucked up but yeah people are nicer when it’s “severe.”
