Something like that happened me recently. I don’t talk much in college so only my ‘friend group’ knows I stutter. One day I was asked a question in class and I stuttered. Afterwards a guy came up to me and asked if I had a stutter. He asked me about what it was like and how sometimes I can talk and sometimes I can’t. He was genuinely interested in how it worked. It was nice talking about it since most people try to ignore and don’t want to ask about it. I feel more comfortable talking to him now and it’s nice that he understands a bit too.
