My (38M) wife (38F) and I met through the dating site OKCupid. We've been married for 5 years, together for 11, and now have a daughter. She says she never notices it, even when I definitely do and when I am sometimes hard on myself. It's cliche to say of course, but we are our own harshest critics. When I was dating, I usually wouldn't broadcast it or come out and immediately say it but I ultimately would tell a date through messaging beforehand that I had a stutter, that it wasn't a big deal, but that I didn't want to surprise them. I think this worked well.
