Alternative ways to say words Hello all, a few months ago I read someone’s post who said for any words that start with “D”. They substitute the d sound with a “th” sound. So instead of saying a word like “delicate” they would say “thelicate”. I have been using this trick and it has worked wonders for me, and when you are talking, it honestly sounds the same and people don’t even realize. My quesiton is, is there a similar trick or alternative way to say hard “c” sounds for words like cake, comprehensive, calling, etc. I was thinking a “ch” sound but I don’t think that would be noticeable, any ideas ?
