Do you mean the label of 'Stutterer'? I don't give it much thought to be honest. If it's relevant I'll say "I tend to stammer" (that word is more commonly used where I'm from), rather than saying "I'm a stammerer." It's more something I involuntarily do or a condition I have rather than something I am. I don't like to emphasise it as part of my identity; it's just a particular trait amongst many other traits. You are not just a person who stutters. You are a person with hopes, dreams, goals, fears, likes, dislikes. Don't let your stutter define you.
