I dont believe so, I think stuttering it's the symptom of a missing piece of the personality, which is a healthy view of one's abilities and a good self image, unfortunately something went wrong with the evolution of the person's psyche (genetics and early environment both play a role). I'm not saying it's easy to live with, but the speech it's not exactly the main problem, it's the psychological system that doesn't support a healthy flow of emotions, especially anger, which is fundamental in speech. Basically stuttering it's a neurosis, not something organic like being blind. I really reccomend to read Antonio Bitetti's works, or John Harrison book "Redefining stuttering". It may change your life, hope you people are well.
