I can't even imagine about reading something in public and i don't stutter much normally, but speaking/reading in public and over the phone are my nemesis. One of the most embarassing times of my life was in my wedding day, i just could not say the words properly. Luckily i did not marry on church, was just civil, so the text is much smaller but still, was enough for me to stutter so badly and was so embarassing.
