If it’s a situation where I need to use my actual name I disclose my stutter either before or after I say my name and just accept my name isn’t going to come out smooth at this point in time. If you’re ordering food or whatever where your actual name isn’t needed, I like to find a pseudonym name (mine is Claire haha) that I can say smoothly.
