I recently figured out that my blocks only happened because I was fighting my authentic stutter. I was fighting myself to simply stutter, resulting in blocks. I blocked for almost 26 years, simply because I refused to allow myself to actually stutter. For example, I would block on "food", because internally I was scared to simply go "foo-foo-foo-foo-foo-foo-foo-foo-food". I refused to let my stutter take it's natural course; repeating things like crazy. So instead, blocking occured, trying to force a sound, because I refused to simply stutter uncontrolled. So since a few days I decided to let myself stutter uncontrolled, unfiltered. It took time to allow myself to do this, as I absolutely hate to stutter - to repeat. As I allowed myself to stutter authentically, I noticed I had zero blocks. Hope this helps.
