I never said that. It’s the fact that you’re blaming it entirely on the stutterer’s fault instead of the people around them. Sometimes pity can actually be a great thing, coming from experience. It made me more relaxed and comfortable with my life, and acceptance can go a long way instead of just cure cure cure. We should also try to educate the people around us too so they know about different ways of speaking.
