Same as everywhere. Canada is like that too - anywhere I went if I did block heavily they would either roll their eyes/ignore me or would treat me like a child (which was indignifying). I think people in the west and Europe claim to have more empathy for it but it’s still a social disturbance to yours and others lives (such as work)
