I don't think you mentioned why you quit the job. That said, I'm proud of you for taking a talking job that would be a terrifying nightmare for most of us. It sounds like you were doing exactly what you were supposed to be doing which is stuttering when you stuttering not letting it keep you from doing the job and you did the damn job. And I completely agree, you'll be stuttering at any job so you might as well do one you enjoy. The jealousy comment is really unfortunate to hear, especially from a parent. But you sound like you've got a good attitude about your stutter and I hope you continue doing what you want and not letting it stop you.
