Never really that bad. Any “bullying” was people just not understanding what was happening when I’d stutter. The one time I was bullied by a girl in fifth grade the teacher overhead and ripped her a new one. He took her outside the classroom so we wasn’t yelling at her in front of everyone but it did nothing to help. He was loud. Pretty awkward for me but he was an amazing teacher. That same girl is actually a good friend of mine now :)
