Never chase after fluency, chase after control and efficiency. I used to be that way and chase the fluency god, not worth the time or hassle. Just focus on what they teach you in therapy and go from there. Try to do it in chunks and work your way up to other parts of your speech that you struggle with albeit eye contact, body movements etc. Good luck, and to answer your question I have not heard of William D.
