I’ve had a stutter my whole life, well I’m not that old yet like I’m still in school however I feel like I’ve had enough bad experiences to Atleast share one here. I’m not sure about you guys but until now in school when a teacher asked me to read or answer something they would cut my speech midway cause I was taking tooo long. I was very extroverted when I was younger however every time my teachers stopped me from speaking my confidence diminished, there was a point in my life that I didn’t even speak in school for the entire school year. As my confidence diminished I became Soo introverted with soooo much social anxiety and I found comfort in being alone as Atleast there no one stopped me from speaking. Fast forward like 4 years I don’t speak as much in class and I’m still extremely introverted however my confidence has seemed to have increased however due to all the bad teachers I had in the past I am just not able to speak to teachers like at all. Ig stuttering gave me one good experience in the sense of a confidence boost, (I always say sorry whenever I stutter) whenever I stutter if a teacher or anyone told me it’s ok, no rush, take your time I realise I don’t stutter as much and am able to complete my sentences. This really helped increase my confidence and reduce my social anxiety by a little bit too. :) So I’m short stuttering caused my heavy social anxiety but also is reducing it. (I’m confused by it but ig I ain’t complaining)
