I trip over the job title I’ve fought to get After a decade in the start up grind I finally have the title I needed to get more stability and good play to provide for my family. But as most things go with a stutter you can’t get something without a condition. I trip up everytime I introduce my self (director). So my customers first impression of me is my stutter. I’m at the point where I hate introductions when I should be proud of what I accomplished. I have my alternative routes and other coping methods but just once I’d like to be able to introduce myself with out getting tripped. While that sucks I want to hopefully be a positive example of how your work and determination won’t stop you from achieving your work goals. I’m in support and for a job where my job is talking I’ve been able to get a director position based on my work and determination. Don’t get in your own way of doing great things.
