I'm 54. At 20 ish years of age I met a psychologist who told me: you will always stutter, make it your signature, part of your image, be proud that you're different. I thought he was nuts. Nevertheless he changed my life. I stopped fighting my stutter, I stopped feeling inferior. I spoke publicly with stutter with the mindset like "y'all have to wait until my words come out". I lived a much happier life since. The guy was a genius, I wish I knew where he is to thank him.
