Stuttering therapy as an adult: much effect?

Stuttering therapy as an adult: much effect? Has anyone had good effect from going to speech therapy as an adult? I'm 24 yo, and although I don't stutter a lot anymore, I feel that with a little professional help I can become even much more fluent, especially when talking to strangers or important people.
