I can't really give that great of advice for making friends since I've had the same friends since I was younger, nor can I give advice about dating cause I suck at that. However what I can give you advice for is job interviews. Every interview I do, I'm always straight up and tell them that I have a stutter. After that I just simply apologize if it takes me a few tries to get a thought out, etc. In every single case they were fine with it and very patient.
