This is a good point. Most, if not all, of those case studies had a pre-existing disorder like schizophrenia for instance. Olanzapine would be the culprit, samidophan has a different mechanism unrelated to dopamine. However, this speaks to the vulnerability of the speech system, too little dopamine can lead to stuttering as well. This is seen in parkinsons patients that develop stuttering as well.
