This breaks my heart because I can relate 100%. People often told me that university is the best years of your life, but it took me a long time to reach that point. Trying to be accepted just felt like hard work, especially since I represented many minority groups on my campus. With all the other pressure that comes with uni, working hard to be accepted nearly caused me to lose my mind. I promise it gets better. Embrace who you are. Do what makes you happy. I really hope the counselling sessions are helpful. Just know that you’ll always have a community to support you!
