I started speech therapy at the age of 32. The first therapist I talked to had a philosophy based on stuttering acceptance. I knew I wanted to learn actual speech techniques so I switched to a new therapist. My therapist now is like half talking about the emotional aspect , while teaching me techniques. It was the best thing I’ve ever done. Go for it , explore your options. You are worth it!!!
