I was actually just about to create a post asking the same thing. Personally ive noticed that nicotine gum takes away my anxiety around speech for a while, but this only lasts for 3 hrs at most. I have a shipment of l-theanine coming in. research suggests that it too can lower anxiety while having a longer half-life. 3hrs vs 1.5 hrs of nicotine. At the very least I think you should try the nicotine gum. it has revealed to me that my anxiety is the problem rather than my inherent ability to speak. I've been chewing for about a month and I still have no desire to ever smoke, so no need to worry about that lol
