Agreed; I reckon the main reason behind most negative reactions is because there’s still so much ignorance surrounding speech/voice disorders. People who laugh at and mock deaf people or those in wheelchairs would be raked over the coals in no time, whereas stuttering remains one of the few disabilities that are still “socially acceptable” to make fun of. It’s truly ridiculous. Raising more awareness about stuttering and its causes could potentially take us out of these dark ages.
