Reading that felt like reading a recollection of my own highschool experience and I'm not sure if you're looking for support with this post but I can say it definitely get's better. Since getting to college I've never been judged for stuttering once by teachers or other teachers. Not so much as snickers or anything. I expected way worse going to a hick college. But I feel like the adult world is much more understanding. Highschool is just cruel as hell. I was worried I would be considered ugly since I stutter but I have a insanely hot gf now that I never thought I would have when I was younger. I even work in an emergency room now and everyone here seems very understanding. I imagine most people have met someone who stutters by this point and at least recognize it as a thing.
