I worked at a knife store in my 20’s. I had a customer call (the phone is the worst!) and I was speaking so badly the customer said “I’m gonna ask you a question… you only have to answer ‘yes’ or ‘no’ …. Are you being robbed?” I busted out laughing! It was so nice bc he was sincerely worried I had a gun to me. I’ve only had one person (recently) who laughed when I was trying to purchase shoes. Oh boy did that send me into a downward spiral. I didn’t speak for 2 days :( then I realized SHE wasn’t gonna quiet me. Also, my daughter offered to go to the store and find the salesgirl and “rough her up” lol (she was joking)
