What would qualify a speech therapist to be the correct one for stuttering?

What would qualify a speech therapist to be the correct one for stuttering? I’ve undergone speech therapy in my childhood and the techniques they taught me was stuff like slowing down my speech and taking deep breathes but, none of that ever worked for me. What sorts of techniques should I be looking out for? Something like speech restructuring? What has helped you?
