Hi! So, I would always email my teachers before the first day of class and told them about my stutter. Stuttering is considered a disability (in universities too) and it is treated as such. I went to my advisor and it was noted that I had a disability. My anxiety in college was really bad and I was so nervous I’d have to introduce myself in front of a class. My advisor said just because my disability isn’t obvious like some other disabilities, it is still a disability ! I never one time had a teacher make me speak or present unless I felt comfortable (which would happen)! Most teaches will accommodate us . You just have to reach out for help/ ask!
