The problem with posts like yours is lack of understanding of the word "severity." People like you see things in black and white. I'm a mild stuterer, but I don't discount the struggles of severe stutterers. It's akin to someone with a fractured leg and another with muscle tear asked to walk. The one with a muscle tear may walk to a degree but the one with a fractured leg will be impossible. Unless one understands the severity of their injuries, they may be tempted to judge them the same. That's how I see stutterers. So when a severe stutterer tells you how he feels and the challenges he face, don't relate to him from your vantage point as a mild stutterer. You may have good and bad days as a mild stutterer, severe stutterers have mostly bad days; every minute of the day is a struggle.
