So I read through everything you wrote and I think you make some valid points and give good advice. BUT I don't know why you wrote the intro the way you did, it makes you sound like a pompous asshole. I think every person with a stutter knows its psychological, and we all have times that were completely fluent. It's true that when you Don't think about it words flow, but that's not an absolute thing. Confidence is DEFINITELY important for your self esteem and motivation to do things, meet ppl etc, but coming from a man(myself, 34 yr) who has THE UPMOST confidence, that still doesn't keep me 100% fluent. I literally have days were things just don't come out. I'll be talking great (not thinking bout it as you stated) then BOOM .. stuck and can't get out. No matter how many breathing techniques etc I used .. it just gets stuck until a giant reset happens. I'm very happy and proud of you and all those you know for overcoming your speech impediment, but what you Stated isn't a cure all for everyone. Like I said prior I already do everything you stated for years and even tho my speech is clear about 80 +% of the time ,that 20% is detrimental. I'm very displease with your lack of empathy for those that have what you had. Especially you saying this to those who might be younger , while knowing the hardships they have went through and still will.
