I speak more now than I've ever done in my life before (which includes phone conversations). • I got the job by first stuttering quite a lot, and then in the second round of interviews, stuttering not quite so much, but still a lot. Presumably, the things that I got across were deemed competent enough that they wanted to hire me, despite the speech impediment.
