They do address it to some degree but it’s more like an afterthought. At the end of the day, places like the one I went to need funding to continue doing research and pay the salaries of the researchers. So they market these programs as being something more than they are. I remember watching some before and after treatment videos. I was sold immediately. Now I just hope they aren’t using my before and after video to sell their program to kids. I won’t lie, a lot of what you said kinda went over my head. I’m not sure what ACT is referring to. My general view is that future generations, when looking back on this time, will think of it much like we do when comparing modern medicine to civil war era medicine. Eventually they’ll figure it out. I think we’ll all be long dead by then but who knows? The fact that modern society still doesn’t understand that it’s not ok to say, “what, did you forget your name?” leads me to think we’re a long way off. (A nurse at the hospital literally said this to me less than 24 hours ago.)
