Thank you so much for educating your classmates about that matter and somehow speaking for us.😍 I've always wanted to do something like that. Here is a story:( its very inspirational and powerful) Mohammed Qahtani World Champion of Public Speaking 2015 Mohammed Qahtani is a software analyst working for Saudi Aramco Oil Company. He joined Toastmasters in 2009 and won the World Championship of Public Speaking in 2015, Las Vegas after investing innumerable hours of work as he surpassed various levels of competition coming from all over the world's largest speech contest, and the first Arab to bag the honor and title of World Champion of Public Speaking. Qahtani uses his strengths in overcoming his fears. Born mute, he only began talking at the age of 6 and suffered from severe stuttering but that never stopped him from soaring high to achieve his goals and makes his dreams come true. His winning speech, "The Power of Words" left a huge impact on his audience and his now spreading all over the world. ( just remember this was a stutterer competing with thousands upon thousands of eloquent people from all over the world and he made it) I recommend to you watching one his interviews : it's super inspiring. He later wrote a book and made several interviews talking about how tough it was to grow up with a speech impediment and how he never envisioned winning such a competition, he first went to participate just in the sake of experiencing something new and never envisioned winning . He said something very touching in his acceptance speech :" if you ever feel there is such a thing as the impossible in your life , just remember (and he pointed at the award in his hand and said ): "this the impossible for me" and I did it than you definitely can do it." Sorry for Grammar mistakes.😉
