I really relate as mild stutterer who can be very fluent for long periods. Its super stressful when it starts to come back and its hard to build coping skills because as soon as I start to figure out how to cope, it goes away again, only to surprise me at a later unknown date. I get so much more bent out of shape out of sudden severe disfluency than people who stutter badly all the time. As in they tend to be by and large far more well adjusted and comfortable. I don't think I wish I stuttered more, I just wish it was more consistent, I would be really happy if I was just consistently fluent:)
