Your education reassures you of your intelligence and accomplishment. Self-esteem is very important to those of us who have been treated with disdain because our speech isn't fluent. Any achievement in higher education or proficiency in a trade, demonstrates even stutterers are intelligent and capable. We are not defined by our stuttering.
