Why I’ve made this link is that the gut directly communicates with the brain. Autism is a brain disorder which has seen tremendous results from treating people’s guts. Now gluten creates an immune response in every single person that has gluten, not just in people that have an intolerance. Gluten has been shown to cause leaky gut syndrome, as well as most of our immune cells are in our gut as well. Gluten may not be the issue, however it’s something I’m willing to try to see the reaction my body has considering I’m part Italian so I literally eat pasta for breakfast.
