Absolutely. And I've learnt to find it fascinating (and of course infuriating) Some tricks that work for me: 1. Immediately before I say my first word, I hum for less than a second. It helps me flow into the word. 2. I started using a pre word to lead me into the sentence. "So..." is my go to. It helps that I speak to a lot of Canadians who do this anyway! 3. I've learnt this ability to almost shut down all my thoughts. And I do this immediately before I'm speaking in an important meeting. This helps me prevent the nerves. Number 3 doesn't always work. And I'm still working on it.
