We can have an acceptance movement all we want but actually that doesn't help us with girls or dating in general. I don't know where I am going with this but just wanted to start a conversation about it. I feel like right now would be a good time to find out what to do about stuttering as a whole. Do we launch a acceptance and patience movement or what. But at the end of the day even if this is successful - you'll just be accepted. People will learn to have the patience to wait for you to finish speaking. People won't laugh. But it will never help you out at a competitive bar or club. These acceptance movements are society's way of just being nice. Edit: I don't know why people are downvoting. It seems like everybody here is asexual or acts oblivious to the dating market/scene. Are you downvoting because you are oblivious to the dating market/scene? Or you want to act as if it's not an issue?
