The right people will value you for who you are and not your fluency. It's a good test of their character. As a stutterer, I found that it didn't matter that I stuttered, only the many other factors creating my whole self. Don't give up. There are great people out there. It might help to join groups where people of character are such as education, religious youth groups, hobby groups, etc. It’s no guarantee those people have character but it’s a better predictor than looking in a bar.
