That's an interesting perspective! Yeah I do feel like sometimes, being more comfortable can paradoxically make us stutter more. I've been trying to find techniques to help me be a bit more fluent myself (stuff like timing my breaths, speaking with a certain rhythm, using filler words), and sometimes it does help a bit. But the biggest issue for me is my fear of stuttering openly in front of others, or taking too long to speak! So instead of taking the time that I need, I rush and censor myself. It's a tricky thing to manage since there's two different problems mixing together (the physical obstacle of stuttering, and the social obstacle of people potentially judging you)
