I think it depends on the person. My s/o right now started putting my name down for party of 2 at restaurants because I always experience a block saying my name. I never asked her to do it, but I'm relieved that she does. I'm honestly a little embarrassed to tell her that it helps. But I think you're helping, not "enabling"
