Do you prefere to stutter or to express the same concept with different words by changing the sentence? Ex.: if you would like to say "I don't like going to the restaurants" but after you say "I" you feel that you're going to block with "don't", would you prefere to say (for ex.) "I avoid going to the restaurants"? So basically, do you prefere to stutter (knowing that people will notice it) or to express the same concept with different words by changing the sentence (without stuttering)? I'm kinda confused of what's the better to do, since in the first case you're BEING YOURSELF, in the second one you're just outflanking your problem. Thank you! I usually (not always tho) do the first one with people that know that I stutter (which are my parents, my bro and some very close friends) but I pratically always do the second one with people that don't know that I stutter (which is the majority of the people in my life of course).
